Partner Spotlight

Alex Lalama is a community advocate and organizer currently serving as the Deputy Director of San Francisco Rising in California. Alex has been a key partner in ADR’s Bay Area work, serving on the Steering Committee for the development of the Shared Guidelines and as a key thought partner on all things Bay Area organizing. Alex brings a unique lens with their vast experience working with Black, Indigenous, students of color and on student debt cancellation campaigns. San Francisco Rising is currently working on launching a Student Power Union in 2025 to build the people power of working class students throughout the Bay Area., so stay tuned for more from Alex and SFR.
